Product Introduction
Our PVF (Polyvinyl Fluoride) gas sampling bag is widely used for gas sample collection and temporary storage in environmental monitoring laboratories and industrial inspection sites. Made of premium PVF film with excellent chemical inertness and low-surface adsorption, this sampling bag minimizes analyte loss for trace-level gas components including volatile organic compounds, non-methane hydrocarbons, sulfide gases and odorous mixtures.
Each bag is heat-sealed for reliable air-tight performance. Two valve options are available: economical PP polypropylene valve and high-purity PTFE valve for trace-gas testing requirements. Various standard volumes are in stock, and custom volumes are supported. The PVF gas bag can be reused after thorough purge-cleaning. It meets the requirements of EPA TO-14, TO-15 test methods for airborne volatile contaminant sampling.

Product Advantages
Low Adsorption & Good Chemical Inertness PVF material has minimal absorption for most VOCs, NMHC and inorganic gas samples, reducing sample loss during short-term storage.
Two Types of Valve for Selection
- PP valve: cost-effective for conventional general-purpose sampling
- PTFE valve: superior inertness, suitable for ppb-level trace-gas measurement
Reliable Air-tight Heat-sealing Performance Four-side thermal sealing processing to prevent gas leakage; transparent film allows direct visual observation of sample status.
Multiple Sizes & Custom Support Rich standard sizes for field and lab work; custom-made volume is supported for special project demands.
Reusable after Cleaning Bags can be repeatedly purged and cleaned with target gas for multiple sampling cycles to lower operating cost.
Matches International Environmental Standards Suitable for sampling protocols referenced by EPA TO-14 & TO-15 for ambient and source exhaust gas testing.
Application Scenarios
- Ambient environmental air sampling
- Industrial stack / stationary source exhaust gas sampling (VOC, NMHC detection)
- Indoor air quality testing
- Landfill biogas, soil gas collection
- Odor & olfactory assessment testing
- Laboratory standard gas preparation & gas dilution work
- Vehicle cabin volatile organic emission sampling
FAQ
Q1: Can PVF gas sampling bags be reused?
A: Yes. Please fully purge and clean the bag several times with target sample gas before re-sampling. Do not reuse bags for heavily-polluted or strongly-adsorbed samples. Inspect for pinholes or seal damage before each use.
Q2: How long can gas samples be stored inside PVF bags?
A: For common VOC samples, finish analysis within 24 hours. For sulfur-containing odorous gases, complete testing within 72 hours. Longer storage may cause component deviation due to material permeability and adsorption.
Q3: Which valve should I choose, PP or PTFE?
A: Choose PP valve for routine ppm-range sampling to save cost. Select PTFE valve if you test trace ppb-level VOC or active sulfur-containing gases for higher chemical inertness.
Q4: How much gas should I fill into the sampling bag?
A: Do not inflate over 80% of bag total volume. Over-inflation may cause seal rupture or leakage under temperature change.
Q5: What samples are NOT recommended for PVF bags?
A: PVF bags are not recommended for long-term storage of highly-reactive halogen-containing gases. For these samples please consider FEP gas sampling bags.
Q6: Can I store sampling bags under sunlight?
A: Keep bags away from direct sunlight, high-temperature heat sources and sharp objects. Store at normal ambient temperature.
